What is Charge On The Go?
Charge On The Go is a rental power bank network in Kenya. Our self-service stations sit in airports, hospitals, restaurants and lounges. Rent a portable power bank, charge your phone while you move, and return it to any station.
How do I rent a power bank?
Download the Charge On The Go app from the App Store or Google Play and sign in. Find a station on the map, then scan the QR code on the station screen. Complete payment in the app and a power bank is released for you.
Will it work with my phone?
Yes. Every power bank has three built-in cables: Micro USB, USB-C and Lightning. That covers almost every smartphone and tablet, plus many small notebooks and accessories.
Do I have to return it to the same station?
No. You can return your power bank to any Charge On The Go station in our network. Rent at JKIA and drop it at your favourite Kilimani spot, for example.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
The current rental rate is shown in the app before you confirm, and you pay securely in the app. You will never be charged without seeing the price first.
